About Peg Borkowski

Peg Borkowski is enjoying some sabbatical time after working full-time as a parish minister in Seattle for 20 years.  She raised four boys with her husband, Randy, and went into ministry as a second career.  Her deep love for liturgy and ministry drew her to graduate school at Seattle University where she received a Master of Pastoral Studies in 1997 and a Master of Divinity in 2001.  While continuing to work full-time, she also pursued a Doctor of Ministry degree from San Francisco Theological Seminary, awarded May 19, 2012. Her doctoral dissertation topic involves exploring the use of photography in the teaching of faith and connecting daily experiences to the sacred.

Leaving Seattle after 35 years, she and her husband embarked on an adventure to Washington, D.C. where they lived for two years while her husband concluded his 33 years of service with the U.S. Department of Education. While on the East Coast they explored the region, the National Parks, and other points of historic interest.

After a 37 day journey across country in 2013, Peg and her husband are at home again in Seattle and enjoying the beauty and the wonder of the Pacific Northwest.

These days Gracedmoment has become somewhat of a travel journal as Peg and her husband make periodic trips to discover the many and varied wonders of our country and the people they encounter along the way.
